OHIO POEM
It's winter here in Ohio
And the gentle breezes blow
Seventy miles an hour
At twenty-five below.
Oh, how I love Ohio
When the snow's up to your butt
You take a breath of winter air
And your nose gets frozen shut.
Yes, the weather here is wonderful
So I guess I'll hang around
I could never leave Ohio
Cause I'm frozen to the ground!

Read and enjoy. Just too bad there are so many in America that don't "get it". So many that don't care to "get it". Very sad indeed.

Attended the Medina gun show last week end with my son. Pretty large show. Two large buildings at the Medina fairgrounds and they were filled to the max! It was a sight.
No shortage of guns but I did not see so many ammo dealers as usual. Earlier this year BBHO (before B. Hussein Obama) there were ammo sellers abound. This show was not that way. Several dealers with surplus stuff but not the usual.
I was at the local Wally World on "Ammo Day" this past week waiting to purchase some of my favorites. Got to talking with a stranger who was there for the same reason. We agreed, get it while you can baby. I got some 9mm & 00 buck.
Get prepared. Gather whatever you can because I "got's a feelin" we're in for a OBummer.

We must not forget to offer a prayer up for our Veterans this evening.
I will thank my father and his four brothers who all served in WWII. Pop and uncle Gene, US Army. My uncle Bill, US Navy. My uncle Chuck, US Marine Corp. Uncle Rauliegh, US Army Air Corp.
My Grandmother was a five star mom!
My uncle Norman, US Navy, My cousin Allen, US Navy (Korea) and cousin Bill, US Air Force (Korea).
To all that have served I say "Thank You". For each day I breathe the air of Freedom, I say "Thank You"

I wanted this first post to something lighthearted but reality has reared it's ugly head once again with a IM this morning from the Monk that Herb Score has passed.
I arrived on the "North Coast" in 1981. Just in time to see some of the most God awful Indians baseball ever played. Herb Score called each game as though he was watching the 1948 Indians! He was always even keel. Never to up or to down. Always just right! When the Tribe made it to World Series in 1995 though Herb was up and I mean WAY up! It was a sight!
I've missed that voice since he retired in 1997. I like Tom Hamilton but Herb was well---Herb was Herb. Not much more to say.
Rest In Peace my friend.
